The Calgary Stampede is an annual, 10-day rodeo, exhibition and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta. It attracts over one million visitors annually and features one of the world's largest rodeos, a parade, stage shows, concerts, agricultural competitions, chuckwagon racing and First Nations exhibitions.
The Nigeria High Commission in Ottawa attends the yearly festival to support the Nigerian Canadian Association of Calgary's participation and display of Nigeria's rich cultural heritage.
